We are a very fun loving membership couples dance club, and if you would like to come see if you like it, grab a dance partner, send me an email, and we will be glad to have you join us.
What a great dance year we have had. Between our kick off Ocktoberfest dance September 19th, to our New Years formal dinner dance, we had five other great dances last fall. We then jumped started the New Year with two more dances in January, an informal Valentine's sweetheart dance followed by another formal the end of February. In March we had our only Westerm dance followed by a casual dance and then our Sock Hop in April, complete with a soda fountain, a Vice Principal ordering detention, and an American Band Stand quiz game. That is our only dance to a DJ and this one played all our HS and college favorites.
We then had a "Mayhem" dance where we were asked to pick mismatches from deep in our closets to wear. Turned out to be great fun as one of our male members apparently chose clothes from his wife's closet!
Then May 29th was our Formal President's dance and did we put on the Ritz?. :) With classic white and silver tables and decorations we thanked our retiring Board members, welcomed our new Board members and danced the night away dressed to the nines.
What is left this year (Our next dance year starts in September) is our Luau July 24th where Hawaiian dress recommended and the fun goes on all night. Details to be posted soon as we decide what all we will do this year. Stay tuned. Come join the fun. Just let us know you are coming and the name of your dance partner.
You just need to email me, Rudy Lachenmeier, the current president, at Rudy@lerlaw.com and I will invite you officially. Married, single, it doesn't matter, but you must have a dance partner for these dances. You are allowed to come to two dances as our guests while you decide if you wish to join.Come see what all the fun is about.
